This striking manse had been unsympathetically extended before our clients acquired it. Though fundamentally in good condition, Willison Construction was required to gut the property, remove and replace the recent extension and restore the building with appropriate contemporary updating. The work was undertaken to an exacting brief set by clients with previous period property experience, considerable design knowledge and the highest expectations. The works included construction of new stone chimneys, complete re-roofing with handmade clay tiles, a hand-dressed Farmington stone extension, major internal re-arrangement and complete re-landscaping on three sides of the rural property.
